Sarita Rodriguez’s Growing with Gus: Stay Healthier for a Happier, More Fulfilling Life

No matter how busy you are, health must always come first. But why is it so hard to prioritize wellness?! Managing a highly dynamic life is impossible for many people, even before the pandemic. As we face the uncertainties of this health crisis, more and more are struggling with anxiety and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Are you constantly worried about the future? Having difficulty committing to a healthy diet? Don’t have enough time for activities and hobbies that mentally stimulate you? How do you nurture your relationships with your loved ones? Even the smallest habits impact your overall wellness.

Need help with preventive healthcare and self-development? Wellness coach Sarita Rodriguez can help you make life-long lasting changes. It’s not an overnight thing, though! You need strong encouragement to start your wellness journey. Sarita’s new show with her son, Growing with Gus, can be a massive source of inspiration for anyone keen on living a healthier, happier life.

Take Care of Yourself: Focus on Preventive Care

Preventive care saves lives in countless ways. And it’s not just about catching potential health issues before you actually get sick. This matter stretches way beyond our physical well-being! Aside from sticking to good hygiene, a balanced diet, and regular exercise, you must read books and maintain good relationships for a healthy mind and soul.

Easier said than done? Well, you’re not wrong! Heading towards the right path requires motivation and purpose, something many people struggle to find within themselves. It’s so easy to follow healthy recipes we find online, but consistency is impossible without motivation and encouragement.

One of the most challenging parts of preventive care is managing our emotions the right way. Believe it or not, feelings of sadness, anxiety, and fear can impact our physical health, causing chest pains and high blood pressure.

If you need a break from life stressors, Growing with Gus can help you focus on the brighter side of things. Gus is an incredibly adorable kid that will inspire you to stay healthier and more fulfilled. He may be young, but he can teach you valuable lessons on health and wellness.

Growing with Gus features Augustine Breese, a young jiu-jitsu gray belt that is smart, witty, and full of curiosity. With the help of his health coach mom, Sarita, he interviews people and shares exciting aspects of his healthy lifestyle. It’s an incredible show – a brilliant partnership between mother and son – that will help you learn more about preventive health care and healthy living.

In the first episode, Gus spends a morning with Farmer Jen, where he learns and shares with viewers how to grow their own vegetables. Later he takes a trip to a local farm where he learns different types of vegetables and how eating them can help your body fight off disease and illnesses.

Growing with Gus is a show for the entire family! Thanks to his awesome mom, Gus is becoming a fantastic role model to other kids (and even adults!). Apart from being an awesome mom to Gus, Sarita Rodriguez is a health and wellness coach. She is the owner of Recalibrate Wellness, a virtual holistic health and wellness center where she works with clients across the country.

As a former fashion stylist and makeup instructor, Sarita found her purpose after some soul searching and holistically healing her symptoms due to past traumas. Now, she’s an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, helping clients with preventative healthcare, holistic nutrition, and practical lifestyle management.
